I am Pastor Don Reynolds. I was called to this church 23 plus years ago. We have been privileged to see many precious souls come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior with many of those following the Lord in believers baptism. But first let me tell you a little about how I came to know Jesus.
I joined the Christian Church while an early teenager. However I was not saved at that time. It was more than 10 years later that God began to deal with me about being a true christian. When I saw that I was religious but lost, that drew me to accept Jesus work on Calvary's old rugged cross as atonement for my sin. You see, I had it in my head and not my heart. But that all changed one day when I bowed my head and as humbly as I knew how ask Jesus to forgive my sin and come into my heart and save me from an eternal Hell. Immediately I knew I was saved and changed. I began to study God's word, going to church and them the Lord opened the door for me to go to Thomas Road Bible Institute in 1976 where I graduated in 1978. God began to deal with me about preaching the gospel in Bible school and I became the assistant pastor at Druid Hills Baptist in 1980 where I learned so much under the ministry of the late Pastor Jim Bender. In 1983 I became the pastor of Temple Baptist and have remained here for 23 plus years. We have seen God do some great things in the ministry and as long as He leaves me here we will continue to preach the old King James Version Bible, the Blood, and the Blessed Hope.

We are excited about what God is doing here at Temple. We just finished a great Faith Promise Missions Revival with Bro. Harold Fletcher and my did he preach the Word of God. Pray for our Faith Promise to be all God wants it to be. We had a great day yesterday in the house of God. Many visitors, a sweet spirit and I had such liberty to speak. People came to the altar weeping some just getting right with God. We had a great soul-winning outreach Saturday with the teenagers and many tracts were passed out, then we showed the video “Facing the Giants”. What a fantastic movie everyone needs to see it. This Saturday, November the 10th we will show it to the adults, pray God will move. We trust God is doing a real work in your life today. God Bless and have a great day.
